UNESCO curfew town: early dates, river terraces, bowling after eleven
Luang Prabang is a UNESCO World Heritage town under a nationwide curfew, and it is enforced: bars in the old quarter shut at 11:30pm and the peninsula genuinely empties after that. The only thing that reliably runs later is the bowling alley out past the river. So the nightgame list here is short and early by design: three rooms that are actually open and actually have people in them, rather than a padded list of places that stopped serving before you arrived. Everything below was checked as currently trading in September 2026; several well-known names, Utopia included, were dropped because they are no longer open.
